Jimmy Sanders Chesnee, SC James Marlin “Jimmy” Sanders Jr., 74, of Sanders Road died Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born June 22, 1943 in Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late James Marlin Sanders Sr. and Gladys Ezell Sanders. Mr. Sanders was a former employee with Ronnie Burns Ford, built and loved flying ultra-light airplanes, loved to ride motorcycles, especially Harley Davidsons, love to play golf and was always going, never sitting around and loved talking with other people and proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force. Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Roy Sanders of Chesnee; nephew, Roy Sanders Jr. of Boiling Springs and a niece, Darlene Sanders Jolley of Chesnee. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2017 in the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Rev. Preston Edmonds officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at the mortuary.
