Jewell Parris Shields, 83, loving wife of Bill Hayward Shields passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Regional Hospice Home.

Born August 26, 1937 in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Hoyt Dean Parris and Annie Sue Hollifield Parris. She was a member of Arrowwood Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Surviving in addition to her husband is her daughter, Jane Smith and husband Wayne of Lebanon, TN; son, Buddy Shields and wife Jan of Chesnee; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 12:00 p.m. Monday, June 7, 2021 at Arrowwood Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Jennings and Rev. Johnny Lee officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 686 Jeff Davis Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303.

Family members are at their respective homes.
