Jennie Crocker

Genevieve “Jennie” Lewis Crocker, 83, loving wife of Jack Crocker, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, August 11, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
Born March 15, 1935 in Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Cofer Lewis and Mamie Roddy Lewis. She was a graduate of Chesnee High School and the owner of the former Jennie’s Beauty Shop for 45 years. After retirement she and her daughter owned and operated C & M Farms of Mayo. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Mayo. Jennie had a love for flowers, cooking and cookbooks.
Those left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Jennifer Martin and husband Chris of Mayo; sisters, Mazie Turner of Mayo, Ann Bowen of Chesnee, Bobbie Chitwood and husband Bill of Rock Hill; grandchildren, David Martin and wife Nancy, Travis McSwain and fiancée Grace Thomas; great-grandchildren Jackson David Martin, Lauren Faith Martin both of Mayo and her sister-in-law Betty Cudd of Mayo. Also, a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a step-brother, R.C. Cudd,
and brothers-in-law. John D. Turner and Jackie Bowen
The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Mayo.
Funeral services will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Jake Williams and Grandson David Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family is at the home of her daughter, 240 Coffer Lewis Road, Cowpens, SC.
