Jeanette Emory

Jeanette Emory Mayo, SC Emma Jeanette Emory, 81, widow of Thomas Reid Emory Sr. went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born October 16, 1935 in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Andrew “AJ” Jackson McCraw and Elizabeth “Lizzy” Ann Waddell McCraw. She was retired from John H. Montgomery Mill and a member of First Baptist Church of Mayo. Those left to cherish her memory are daughters, Patricia Prentice of Chesnee, Sue Porter (Ray) of Mayo, Rose Bradley of Mayo; son, Thomas Reid Emory Jr. of Mayo; sister, Francis Huskey (Larry) of Cowpens; brothers, Charles McCraw, Joe Ray McCraw (Deb) all of Spartanburg, 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 7, 2017 in the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Revs. Allen Dean Blanton and Keith Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
