Jay took me under his wing as a freshman Legislator this year and showed me the ropes around the State House floor. He knew I was nervous and he also knew I hated my 1st picture and offered to re-do it a few weeks into session. He was a great gut and I want to tell you, his family, that I thank you for sharing him with ALL of us at the State House! He most certainly was a wonderful man.

Please accept my sincere condolences upon the passing of Jay. I pray that God's many blessings will sustain your family during this difficult hour and that you will allow your faith in Him to be a source of great comfort. Jay's creative eye brought to life the happenings in the House of Representatives and the Statehouse through his excellent photography. His ready smile and willingness to help others were ever-present. He was my friend, and I will very much miss him. May happy memories carry you through this sorrowful time.

So sorry for your pain during this time of passing of your father. All we can do is pray for peace and strength. Long days ahead can bring great memories and cherished moments as well as pain from the loss of seeing your loved one. Stay strong by your memories and the knowledge that you will see him again.
