Jack Eugene Peterson Jr., son of Jack Peterson Sr. and Margaret Hannon Peterson, went home to be with his Lord and Savior July 14, 2022, leaving behind his loving wife Patricia (Pat) Jackson Peterson.

 

Born in Steubenville, Ohio, he is survived by a daughter, Jacalyn Stephens; granddaughter, Jaelyn Stephens; step-daughter, Renee Fletcher (Ronnie); step-granddaughters, Annamaria and Autumn Fletcher; brother, Jeff Peterson (Kristy).

 

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Debra Peterson Eckley.

 

He was an employee of Auriga Polymers where he made many friends and acquaintances. Jack was known for his big smile, his cheerful nature and never meeting a stranger. He was a graduate of Spartanburg High School and Spartanburg Methodist College, he was a lover of golf, football, car racing and an avid Gamecocks fan.

 

Jack would like to be remembered for his love of family, friends and dogs, especially Lady Squel-Deb. Also, his faith in God and love of his church Bethel United Methodist Church.

 

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2022 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2022 at Burke Cemetery in Chesnee with Reverend Brad Gray officiating.

 

Family members are at their respective homes.
