Iris M. Collins

Iris Collins Chesnee, SC. Iris M. Collins, 87, passed away Monday, February 3, 2020 in her Chesnee home surrounded by her family. Iris was born on July 10, 1932, in Alpena, Michigan, to Edward and Ada Lemster Precour. She resided in Chesnee the past 30 years and was employed as a cook at the Bantam Chef restaurant. She was also a member of Eden Wesleyan Church. Survivors include daughters; Beth LaRotonda of Pittsburg, PA, Tamyra E. Brown and Cindi Cantrell both of Chesnee, brother and sister-in-law; Steve and Madeline Precour of Alpena, Michigan, sisters; June Neblett of Ohio, Barbara Crittenden of Alpena, Michigan, sister and brother-in-law, Geri and Milton Hanson of Alpena, Michigan. She was also the proud and loving grandmother of 8 and great grandmother of 23. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, February 6, 2020, 2:00 p.m., in Eden Wesleyan Church, 3271 Peachtree Road, Chesnee, SC, 29323, with Pastor Richard Hall officiating. All arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary, 461-7788.
