Howard Lee Bellew, 79, husband of Brenda Fleming Bellew of Bellew Road, passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Spartanburg Medical Center.
Born March 15, 1939 in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Alfred Bellew and Viola Hipp Bellew. Mr. Bellew was the founder of Bellew’s Market and attended Calvary Temple in Una.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Todd Bellew of Campobello, Teresa Turner and Chrissy Pruitt both of Inman; step-children, Jimmy Fleming of Chesnee, Tammy Simmons of Inman; sister, Minnie Price of Glendale and was loved by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, four sisters and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018 in the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Rev. David Bosler and Rev. Dalton Fowler officiating. Entombment will follow in Good Shepherd Memorial Park Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Saturday, prior to the service at the mortuary.
