Hilda Elizabeth Cantrell, 79, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 4, 2022.

Born in Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Osier “ODE” and Nellie Horton Lamb and the widow of Thomas Leon Cantrell. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Chesnee and was formerly employed with Chesnee Elementary School in the cafeteria.

Surviving is her daughters, Mary Elder (Ira) of Boiling Springs, Rena Cantrell of Cowpens; son. Wayne Cantrell of Cowpens; grandchildren, Megan Millwood (Justin), Stacie Elder and a great-granddaughter, Macy Millwood.

She was predeceased by brothers, Olin, Wayne, Harold and Glen Lamb.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Tuesday, June 07, 2022 at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Wood officiating. The family will receive friends from 1PM until 1:45PM prior to the service. Interment will be at Springhill Memorial Gardens.
