Heyward L. Henderson Chesnee, SC. Heyward Lee Henderson, 77, husband of Maryruth Conner Henderson passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at his home. Born April 20, 1940 in Spartanburg, he was a son of the late Osier Henderson and Rachael Thompson Henderson. He was an owner/operator of a Auto Body Shop and retired from Kohler. He was a member of Arrowwood Baptist Church where he has 37 years of perfect attendance in Sunday School. Surviving in addition to his wife are his sons, Randy Lee Henderson of Boiling Springs, Todd Harrill Henderson of Chesnee; daughter, Missy Henderson Fowler (Michael) of Chesnee; brothers, Legion Henderson (Rhonda) of Boiling Springs, Michael Henderson (Beverly) of Spartanburg; sister, Barbara Klepper (Randall) of Chesnee; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2018 at Arrowwood Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Godfrey and Rev. Eric Yelton officiating. Private burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arrowwood Baptist Church, Children’s Church Fund, 1410 Highway 11 Chesnee, SC 29323. The family is at the home.
