Harry Delano Varner, 71, husband of 52 years to Della Hames Varner passed away Saturday, May 1, 2021 at his home.

Born in Rutherfordton, NC., he was a son of the late Paul O’fallion and Lula Parris Varner. He worked for Hoechst Celenese and Hayssen, he loved cars, golfing, boats, hunting, motorcycles and Camping.

In addition to his wife is his son, Paul Lance Varner and wife Amy; grandchildren, Emma and Coleman Varner and several nieces and nephews that were treasured by Harry.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Mariam Varner and Marilyn Varner Humphries and a brother, Buddy Waymen Varner.

He had a lot of very special neighbors that helped Harry as his health deteriorated.

The family wishes to give a special thanks to Spartanburg Medical Center and Agape Hospice!

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021 in the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe be made to Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Road Spartanburg, SC 29303.
