Glenda Sprouse

Boiling Springs, South Carolina. 

Glenda Fay Sprouse, 85 years, widow of Larry Sprouse, passed away the evening on Friday, May 26, 2023, at home in Boiling Springs, after a brief illness. She was born on Augusta 12, 1937, in Spartanburg, to the late William Ed and Lena Barnett Glasson. She was educated locally and in her working years worked in the textile mill sector employed by Spartan Mills for 30 years.

Survivors include three sons, William Lovingood (Kimberly), of Chesnee, Kenneth Lovingood of Boiling Springs, Eddie Lovingood of Boiling Springs, daughter, Glenda Kimbrell of Atlanta Georgia, sisters, Marsha Carterof Boiling Springs,, Sue Dotson (Ronnie) of Cowpens, grandchildren, Crystal Burnett, Kendra Lovingood, Faith Lovingood, Teena Ramsey, Danny Lovingood, Noah Kimbrell and three great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her sister, Reba Duncan and grandson Christopher Kimbrell.

Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens on Thursday, June 1, 2023, 2:00 PM, with Pastor Garold Thomas with Davis Memorial Baptist Church officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:50 PM at the gravesite.
