Gene Thomas Spartanburg, SC. Daniel Eugene Thomas, 66, of Spartanburg passed away Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Atrium Healthcare in Charlotte, NC. Born September 27, 1952 in Madison County, NC., he was the son of the late Sim Daniel Thomas and Evelyn Worley Thomas. Survivors include, Karen Holifield, Lynn Hayes, Rita Gilbert, Will Sanders, Ronnie Sanders, David Hayes, Neal Hayes, Ralph Hollifield, Earl Hollifield, Chris Bradwell, Judy Thomas, Georgie Thomas, 12 grandchildren and his companion, Diann Bradwell. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Sarah Hollifield Thomas and a daughter, Patti Hollifield. A Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at North Spartanburg Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Sammy Sutton officiating. Family members are at their respective homes.
