Eva Scruggs Davis, 94, widow of Talmadge Arthur Davis Sr. went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, February 27, 2025, at her home.

Born July 10, 1930 in Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late George Ora Scruggs and Lois Bates Scruggs. She was retired from John H. Montgomery Mill and attended Gateway to Life Baptist Tabernacle. 

Surviving is her daughter, Linda Amick (Jimmy) of Boiling Springs; sons, Marty Davis of Rutherfordton, Tim Davis (Bridget) of Chesnee; grandchildren, Jason Davis, Jennifer Powell; great-grandchildren, Karmen Frady, Patrick Dunn, Haley Dunn, Cole Davis, Cooper Davis; great-great-grandchildren, Axton Frady, Kimzee Frady and Kane Dunn. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son Talmadge Arthur “Buddy” Davis Jr.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Monday, March 3, 2025, at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Graveside services will follow at 12:15 p.m. in Springhill Memorial Gardens with Dr. Ron Culbertson officiating.
