Ella Eugenia Deaton

Ella Eugenia Deaton, 85 years, wife of Russell Jerry Deaton, passed away on Monday, April 12, 2021, at Spartanburg Medical Center. Ella was born on October 17, 1935, to the late Leroy Trusdale and Laura Nita McCraw Painter, in Cherokee County. For the past 53 years, Spartanburg was home. In her working years, Ella was a billing clerk for Murphy Cadillac Agency in Spartanburg 22 years. She was a devoted member of Bethesda Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Russell of Spartanburg, daughter Lori Rothenburg of Spartanburg, 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021, at Bethesda Baptist Church, 799 Bethesda Road, Spartanburg, SC, 29302, 864-585-8880. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm in the church with Pastor Larry Holland officiating. Interment is private
