Eliasar Cruz Jungo

Sr. Eliasar Cruz Jungo, 74 years, passed away on Friday morning, December 6, 2019, in Spartanburg Medical Center, while visiting family from Mexico. He was born on August 21, 1945, in Mexico to Mauricio and Abelina Martinez Cruz. In his working years, he was in the farming industry. He is survived by his wife, Maria Guadalupe of Mexico, daughters; Elda Cruz, Lourdes Cruz and Rosario Cruz all of Mexico, sons, Serafin Cruz of Spartanburg, Israel Cruz of Cowpens and Ruben and Juan Manuel both of Mexico, sisters, Esther, Marta and Rosa Cruz-Jungo of Mexico as well as 23 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The family invites friends for visitation on Monday, December 9, 2019, from 4:30 - 6:00 pm at The Catholic Church of Jesus Our Risen Savior, 2575 Reidville Road in Spartanburg. A Mass of the Resurrection will follow at 6:00 PM in the church with Father Ryan Eric Dela Pena officiating. Sr. Cruz Jungo will be laid to rest in his home city in Mexico.
