Edward Sidney "Eddie" Wolverton, III, husband of Janie Juanita Linder Wolverton, passed away early Friday morning, May 24, 2024, at Spartanburg Medical Center after a short illness. Eddie was born in Port Jervis, New York, to Susan Mary Mann Wolverton and the late Edward Sidney Wolverton, Jr. He was a resident of Inman and Spartanburg County the past 39 years. He was a Millwright 30 years employed with C 3.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Janie of Inman, mother, Susan M. Wolverton of Inman, sister, Kimberly Jackson (Boyce) of Inman, stepson, Byron Solesbee, Sr. (Leslie) of Chesnee great-niece, Avery Parton of Inman and two step grandchildren, Allie Solesbee and Byron Solesbee, Jr., both of Chesnee.
He was predeceased by his father, Edward Sidney Wolverton, Jr, brother, Thomas Everette Wolverton and sister, Rosemary Lynn Wolverton.
No services will be held at this time.
