Edward L. Cravey CHESNEE: Edward Leon “Scooter” Cravey, 50, husband of Melody Allen Cravey of 205 Sequoya Drive, died Monday, September 19, 2016 at his home. Born September 2, 1966 in Bartow, FL he was a son of Hampton Cravey of Florida and Margie Edenfield Wadleigh of Chesnee. He was a member of Westgate Freewill Baptist Church and was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan. Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are sons, Edward T. Cravey, Chris Cravey and Allen Cravey all of Chesnee; brother, Alfred E. Edenfield of Columbia; sisters, Michelle Lindsey (Gerald) of Inman, Jeri Lynn Birchfield of Fl; grandchildren, Leah, Kaden, Zaney, Landon, Tristen; his beloved dog Sheba and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Algie L. Edenfield and Minus & Helen Whitmire. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Westgate Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Smith officiating. The family is at the home.
