Dr. William L. Bishop, 81, went home to be with the Lord on February 14, 2022.

Born on March 9, 1940 he was the son of the late Rev. and Mrs. Vernon Bishop and the husband of “Jan” for 59 years! In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Brian William Bishop. “Dr. Bill” was a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa and practiced for 35 years in Cowpens. He served in the National Guard for 5 years in Gaffney and was a proud member of the U.S. Air Force for 4 ½ years,

Survivors also include three daughters, Tonya Stott and Eric of Campobello, Dana Jones of Arden, NC., Brandi Bishop of Spartanburg and several wonderful grandchildren, Tyler Stott, Tiffany Stott Page and Austin, Abby Jones, Noah Jones, Bridges Bishop, Maggie Bishop, and Lucie Bishop. Also surviving is his brother, Jim Bishop and Faye of Forest City, NC., and a sister Estelline Coyle and Earl of Gaffney.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 12:50 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2022 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. A celebration of life will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Rev. Scott Scrimpsher and Rev. Kenny McDowell officiating.

The family is at the home.
