Dorothy S. Beheler Spartanburg, SC. Dorothy McAbee Beheler, 81, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born April 30, 1936 in Polk County, NC., she was a daughter of the late John H. McAbee and Lillian Underwood McAbee. She was formerly employed by Southern Devices and a member of First Baptist Church of Spartanburg. Surviving is her son, Jerry Beheler and girlfriend Edna Scott of Lyman; daughter, Shelby Jean Beheler Emory of Morganton, NC.; sister, Shirley Cobb and husband Cecil of Cowpens; step-grandson Richie Lance; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and loving caregiver, Virginia Washington of Mayo. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother Carl McAbee. Private graveside services will be Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Springhill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the graveside service at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary.
