Denise Ann Brognano

Denise Ann Brognano Chesnee, SC. Denise Ann Brognano, 60, of Chesnee passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at Spartanburg Medical Center. Born January 23, 1957 in Brooklyn, NY., she was a daughter of the late Joseph Brognano and Yolanda Calemine Brognano. She was a Victim’s Advocate for the Safe Homes Rape Crisis Coalition and a member of St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church. She was an accomplished Artist, mother and friend to many. She graduated from Converse College with High Honors attaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Art Therapy. Surviving are her daughters, Alexandra Brognano of Spartanburg, Nicollette J. Fortunato (Stephen) of Hanover, MD.; brother, Joseph Brognano of New York; sister, Mary Lou Shevlin of Florida and a grandson, James Madden. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Good Shepherd Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum. Family members are at their respective homes.
