Danny Lee Jones

Danny L. Jones Gaffney, SC. Danny Lee Jones, 68, loving husband of Janie Robertson Jones of Mosswood Rd. went home to be with the Lord, Monday, April 23, 2018 at his home. Born July 11, 1949 in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Hix Henry Jones and Frances Hardin Jones. He was a former employee with Koch (formerly Fiber Industries of Greenville) and was a member of Chesnee First Baptist Church where he served as a former Deacon. Surviving in addition to his wife are sons; Jerry Edwards, Mark Jones, Matthew Jones; daughter, Anita Allen; sisters, Dee Burnette, Denise Wilson; grandchildren, Brandon Sims, Kacie Edwards, Jennifer Bagwell, Krissy Chesney, Jared Edwards, Kaitlyn Edwards and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2017 at Chesnee First Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Grogan and Rev. Ron Tosto officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. The family is at the home.
