Claude Charles Bryant, 103, years, husband of Blanche Elder Bryant, passed away the evening of Tuesday, March 14, 2023, in his Chesnee home with loving family surrounding him.

Claude was born on March 2, 1920, in Green Creek, North Carolina, to the late James Thomas Bryant and Lollie Wilson Bryant. He was educated in the local area and prior to his retirement, had been employed with Spartan Mills in the capacity of loom technician and quality control for 36 years, was a United States Army Air Core veteran and a member of Arrowwood Baptist Church.

Survivors include his loving wife; Blanche of Chesnee, daughter; June Kathleen Dalton (Joe) of Chesnee, son; Larry Bryant (Lisa) of Irmo, grandchildren; Tammy Cooley, Travis Dalton, Nichole Bryant, great-grandchildren; Ben Cooley, Bethanie Dalton, Anna Kate Cooley and Bella Dalton

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife Kathleen Thompson Bryant.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Monday, March 20 2023 at Arrowwood Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Dr. Chris Gray and Rev. Daniel Godfrey officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
