Cecil G. McSwain Chesnee, SC Cecil G. McSwain, 63, widower of Gwendolyn Scruggs McSwain of 3360 Peachtree Road died, Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Regional Hospice Home. Born October 19, 1953 in Spartanburg he was a son of the late George Albert McSwain and Maggie L. Arledge McSwain. He was a truck driver for Kennedy & Sons and attended Eden Wesleyan Church. Surviving are sons, Anthony McSwain and wife Brandy of Spartanburg, George McSwain and wife Jennifer of Chesnee; daughters, Melissa McSwain West and husband Dedrick, Tracey Smith all of Chesnee; brother, Guy McSwain of Chesnee; sister Martha McSwain of Chesnee; 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchild and longtime companion, Lisa Bishop of Chesnee. The McSwain Family will greet friends and family from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary of Chesnee. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 16, 2017 in the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Rev. Richard Hall officiating.
