Carol Jean Looker

Carol Jean Looker, 68, died Saturday May 11, 2019 at Spartanburg Medical Center. She was born on March 25, 1951, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, to David Henry and Parlee Guy Anders. She attended local schools and in her working years, she was employed as a paramedic and also was involved in security for over 20 years employed with Hoechst-Celanese. She was particularly proud of having achieved her private pilots license and enjoyed many hours in the air. She was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Lancaster, South Carolina. At the time of her passing, Carol was residing in the community of Pauline. Survivors include her son; Christopher Michael Jennings of Pauline, step-son; Wilburn Jennings, Jr., of Moore, step-daughter; Tammy Jennings of Georgia, brothers; Reverend Rogers Anders and Joseph Scott Anders of Lancaster, sister; Phyllis Scales of Chesnee and four grandchildren. The family invites friends for visitation on Monday, May 20, 2019, 1:30 PM in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Following visitation, a Celebration of Life will begin promptly at 2:00 o'clock p.m. in the mortuary chapel with Reverend Roger Anders officiating. Inurnment will be private.
