Carl William Walker, 68 years, passed away the afternoon of Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Spartanburg Medical Center, Mary Black Campus after an illness. He was born on February 23, 1955, in Henrietta, North Carolina, to the late Carl Walker and Eloise Splawn Gunter. He was a high school graduate of Chase High School in Rutherfordton. He proudly served his country 4 years with the United States Army.

Survivors include his son, Timothy William Walker (Heather) of Chesnee, daughter, Wendy Painter of Greenwood, South Carolina, brother, Freddie Walker of Cliffside, North Carolina and 6 grandchildren, Makayla Meritt, Malachi Painter, Gavin Walker, Jonathan Painter, Jordyn Donaldson and Peighton Walker.

At his request, no formal services are planned.
