Brenda Emory Ledford

Brenda E. Ledford Mayo, SC. Brenda Emory Ledford, 74, loving wife of Teddy Ledford went home to be with the Lord, Friday, August 31, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. Born June 17, 1944 in Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Woodrow Emory and Ernestine Blanton Emory. She was employed in the Business Office at Wofford College and a member of First Baptist Church of Mayo. Surviving in addition to her husband of 55 years is her daughter, Amy Ledford Long and husband Harold of Mayo, Barry Ledford and wife Heidi of Spartanburg; sisters, Elaine Bond and husband Steve of Chesnee, Joyce Cash and husband Paul of Chesnee; grandchildren which were her pride and joy, Cooper and Colsen Long and Emily and Braeden Ledford. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 3, 2018 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary in Chesnee. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Mayo with Reverend Allen Dean Blanton and Rev. Jake Williams officiating.
