Jonathan Blake Lindsey, 26, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021.
Born September 5, 1994 in Spartanburg, he was the son of J.T. Lindsey (Kim McLeymor) of Inman and mother and step-father; Janet Lindsey Cashwell and Christopher Cashwell of Spartanburg. He was a 2013 graduate of Boiling Springs High School and was currently attending Spartanburg Community College working towards his degree in welding. He loved his family and friends and was an intelligent individual with great potential who would do anything for anyone.
Surviving in addition to his parents is a step brother, Austin Cashwell (Jessica) of Landrum; maternal grandparents, Don and Vicki Petty of Spartanburg; paternal grandmother, Mickey Lumpkins of Rutherfordton, step-maternal grandparents, Dale and Reggie Drake of Tryon; aunts and uncles, Donna Paxton (Christopher) of Spartanburg, Samantha Yelton of Kings Mountain, Tim Lindsey of Boiling Springs; cousins, Nikki Paxton of Spartanburg and Samuel Yelton of Kings Mountain.
He was predeceased by his grandfather, W. Gene Lindsey.
The family will receive friends from Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Good Shepherd Memorial Park with Dr. Ron Culbertson officiating.
Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic it is requested that masks and social distancing be practiced during the visitation and service.
Family members are at their respective homes.
