Betty J. Suttles, 81, widow of Johnny Suttles, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, April 19, 2021 at Regional Hospice Home.

Born January 28, 1940 in Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Paul Covington and Marie Stedman Covington. She was retired from Prym Dritz and a member of Westgate Free Will Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she loved to crochet afghans.

Surviving are her children, Doris Belue of Spartanburg, Wanda Robinson of Spartanburg, Dennis Matthews (Joy) of Inman; 3 sisters, 3 brothers, 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Crystal Belue and 2 brothers.

The family will receive from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2021 in the Chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Reverends, Danny Easler, Kenneth Cash and Ricky Lemmons. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

The family is at the home of Doris Belue, 1325 Johnson Street, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
