Betty Jackson Finger, 94, widow of William Robert Finger Sr. went home to be with the Lord, Friday, January 29, 2021 at her home.
Born August 31, 1926 in Gaffney, she was the daughter of James Ervin Jackson and Lucy McDaniel Jackson. She was a 1943 graduate Chesnee High School and also a graduate of Cecil’s Business College. She was a member of Chesnee First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Frances Finger Sunday School class.
Surviving are her grandchildren, Stacey Hughes Smith of Boiling Springs, Dusty Hughes and wife Vickie of Chesnee; daughters-in law, Lula Finger of Gaffney, Samie Finger of Gaffney; great grandchildren, Gus Nance, William Hughes, Austin, Oliva and Sophia Smith; nephews, Jerry Cash and wife Judy, Jay Cash and wife Carmen; niece, Terri Kimbrell and husband Danny Ray, and all of their children.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Elaine Finger Hughes; son Robbie Finger; son-in-law, Danny Hughes; her siblings, Ruth Cash, Olin Jackson and Aileen Jackson.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 1, 2021 at Springhill Memorial Gardens with Dr. Gary J. Grogan officiating.
Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic it is requested that masks and social distancing be practiced during the service.
