Bessie Waldrop Whittle, 73, widow of Stanley Whittle, went to be with Jesus on October 13, 2021.

She was born on November 5, 1947, in Gaffney to the late James and Amy Ervin Waldrop.

Surviving are her sons; Doug (Janice) Whittle of Cowpens and Scottie Wayne (Laura) Whittle of El Paso, Texas; sisters, Susie Keenan and Lynn Hutchings of Gaffney; granddaughters; April (Kevin) Bryant of Boiling Springs, Laura (Nick) Poole of Cowpens, Tosha (Adam) Gardner of Cowpens, Shannon (Kevin) Smith of Roebuck and Bethany Brooke Whittle of El Paso; great grandchildren, Kellen and Kayden Bryant, AJ, Nevaeha, and Adilyn Gardner and Callie Smith and a beloved cat, Honeybun.

In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by a daughter Deana Whittle; brothers, Wayne and Danny Ray and Kenneth Waldrop and 2 great grandbabies, Camden Bryant and Lucas Poole.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021, 2:00 PM at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, with Scottie Wayne Whittle officiating.

The family is at the home of Doug Whittle.
