Benny Robbins Chesnee, SC. Alton Benny Robbins, age 61, departed this life on Wednesday October 10, 2018. Born October 25, 1956 in Bangore, Maine, he was a son of Alton D Robbins and Mary Davis Robbins of Chesnee. He was a former employee with Palmetto and Mid-Atlantic and with Waldrop Heating and Air. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of The Bridge Church of the Carolinas. Surviving in addition to his parents is his wife, Rhonda Robbins; son, Travis Robbins and wife Daniela; daughter, Tanya Alexander and husband Jay, Codi Barba, Allison Tipton; brothers, Melvin Robbins, Jeff Robbins, Rev. Buddy Robbins; sisters, Kathy Worthy, Delores S. Robbins; grandchildren, Jaxon Alexander, Kylan McDonell, Hudson Cohen, Brinley Robbins, Juniper Barba and a special friend Lorene Tucker and her family. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2018 at The Bridge Church of the Carolinas with Rev. Buddy Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. Friday prior to the service at the church. Family members are at their respective homes.
