Belinda Anne Wyatt 

Belinda, affectionately known as “Butter”, finally joined the love of her life, Joe Wheeler, along with her parents in Heaven. We are certain Joe greeted her with, “It took you long enough.”  

She was the daughter of the late Jacques Smith and Betty Lou Smith. Left to cherish her memories are her sister, Tammy Foster (Brent) and brother, Dave Smith (Laura), daughters, Dana Fowler, Davina Hayes (Kevin) and Charlianne Nestlen (Homer) along with her son, David Ray Cannon, II. She leaves behind four granddaughters including Chelsey Jackson and five grandsons, eleven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She also leaves behind her loving aunt Amaryllis Smith Almond, cousin Emily Compton, three nieces and two nephews.  

In addition to her partner and parents, she is predeceased by a grandson, Matthew Page and her companion pet Mitzi. 

Butter loved camping and spending time with friends listening to Joe sing. Most weekends you could find “Miss Butter” at the racetrack. 

She fought and defeated breast cancer TWICE! She battled Parkinson’s for over 20 years and spent her last final years in Ashlan Village and Valley Falls Terrace. She had been under the care of Wren Hospice for several years.  

The family is thankful for the many nurses and staff that cared for her over the last few years. She was not the easiest patient. We are at peace knowing she is fully healed in Heaven now.  

The family receive friends Friday, January 17, 2025, at 12:00-1:15 pm at Harris- Nadeau Mortuary in Chesnee with the service directly following at 1:30 pm. Her internment will be at Good Shepherd in Boiling Springs.
