Barbara Lee Revels

Barbara L. Revels, of Cowpens, SC, went home to be with her Lord & Savior on the evening of Monday, March 14, 2022.

Born on June 18, 1941, in Mill Springs, NC, Barbara was the widow of Larry Earl Revels and the daughter of the late Mary Lee Jackson and Lee Hanes. She was a member of Casey Creek Baptist Church.

Barbara is survived by two sons: Tony Revels and Tim Revels, two daughters-in-love: Cheryl Revels and Sonya Allison, five grandsons: Kyle Revels (Kristen), Corey Revels (Taylor), Jacyn Revels, Christian Revels, and Ryan Ridings, two sisters: Dorothy Reid (Albert), Pat Pittman (James), one brother: James Griffin (Ann), two sister-in-laws: Shirly Griffin and Kim Giles, many nieces and nephews, and special friends: Loree Gossett and Nancy Lee. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by brothers: Don Griffin and Rick Giles and a sister: Doris Hooper.

Barbara lived for her Lord daily. She enjoyed gardening and helping others, but most of all, she enjoyed spoiling and spending time with her grandchildren.

Honoring her request, a private graveside service will be held at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Casey Creek Baptist Church building fund or to the Carolina Miracle League.
