Barbara Sue Everette, wife of 38 years to Steven Everette passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021 at her home.

Born July 15, 1954 in Cowpens, SC., she was a daughter of the late Jim Smith and Emma Linder Smith. She was retired from Hoechst Celanese and of the Wesleyan faith.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a daughter, Erica J. Allison and husband Jeff of Spartanburg; son, Tony Jolley and wife Darlene of Chesnee; sister, Dorothy Betenbaugh of Chesnee; grandchildren, Alexis “Lexie” Allison, Luke Allison, Gage Allison; God-children, Chris, Matt, Brittany, Jimmy, Kearston,. nieces; Joie Brown, Natasha DeJardins, newphew; Jamie Thompson and her fur babies, Lucy and Bella.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Janice Owens, Joyce Moore and her fur babies, Baby and Prissy.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at New Pleasant Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the church with Rev. James Henderson and Rev. Preston Edmonds officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family is at the home.
