Augusta Cash High, 88, widow of Ned Keith High, went home to be with the Lord, June 30, 2023 at Regional Hospice Home.

Born December 8, 1934 in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Henderson Cash and Jo Ella McCraw Cash. She was a retired School Teacher after 28 years for Conway Middle School and was a member of Graham Chapel Wesleyan Church and First Baptist North Spartanburg.

Surviving is her daughter, Sophia Garland (Mike); sons, Norman High, Eric High (Lynn), Greg High (Caroline), Brad High, Scott High; brother, Henry Cash (Ruth); grandchildren, Tara, Grant, Noah, Oliva, Austin, Alex, Heath, Elizabeth, Ned, Cash, Keaton and Alayna; great-grandchildren, Carter, Ella Grace, Nash, Marlow, Avery, Declan, Beau, nieces and nephew, Priscilla, Vickie, Jan, David and longtime friends, Kim, Shirley and Mary Jo.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by sisters, Sarah Lou Bush, Mary Sue Cash and a brother, Henderson Cash.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Harris-Nadeau Mortuary. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Harris-Nadeau Mortuary with Rev. Preston Edmonds and Rev. James Henderson officiating. Burial will be in First Baptist North Spartanburg Church Cemetery.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home and all those who had a part in taking care of Augusta in her final days.
