Allison Daye Hoy Boiling Springs, SC Allison Daye Hoy, 17, of Boiling Springs, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018, after a courageous and spirited year-long battle with Burkitt’s Leukemia. Alli was born in Spartanburg on November 30, 2000. She was the daughter of Kristen Hoy of Boiling Springs and William and Jennifer Hoy of Spartanburg. Left to cherish loving memories are her parents; sisters, Maisie and Dorothy of Spartanburg; maternal grandparents, Bill and Deborah Everley of Chattanooga, Tenn.; paternal grandparents, Winston and Laura Hoy of Surfside Beach, and Harold and Debra Bradey of Spartanburg; maternal aunt, Brooke Everley of Birmingham, Ala.; paternal aunt, Kathryn Hoy Flewelling (Roland) of Myrtle Beach; paternal uncle, Thomas Hoy (Alanna) of Nashville, Tenn.; cousins Peyton, Abigail and Mae of Myrtle Beach; and many relatives and friends. A state champion varsity swimmer and cheerleader, Alli possessed an adventurous spirit, sharp wit, ready smile, welcoming heart, and enduring tenacity, inspiring the motto “All Daye Strong.” She was a lover of water, trips to the beach, mountains, and farm, music, sushi, and spending time with friends. Alli felt honored throughout her illness by the love and support from the Spartanburg Day School and District 6 communities, as well as beloved nurses and staff at Greenville Hospital System’s Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Center. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, February 3rd at Twichell Auditorium, 580 East Main St. Inurnment will be private.
